Indiaโs victory over Australia in the 50-over World Cup is just eight months away when the two teams meet in London on Sunday, with the two rivals also meeting in a three-game T20I series Down Under earlier this year which Harmanpreetโs team won 2-1.
Both teams know each other very well and Harmanpreet admitted that India likes to test itself against Australia and always improves its game when taking on the six-time T20 world champions.
โThey (Australia) are one of our favorite opponents and hopefully we will be at our best on this day (Sunday),โ added Harmanpreet.
โWe know that in these tournaments you have to win every game and sometimes when things donโt go your way, you have to in that moment, you have to give it your all.
โAnd I think this game is very important. And if we win it, I think weโll definitely get a lot of confidence out of it.โ
