Jagran Correspondent, Gurugram. The girl, whose body was found in a drain at Sidhrawali village under Bilaspur police station area in Gurugram, had been strangled to death. After committing the crime, the killer threw the body into a dirty sewer to hide it. Following an autopsy on Wednesday, details of the murder have now been revealed in the report.
Based on the post-mortem report, the Bilaspur police station registered a case under sections of murder and began further investigation.
It is said that 21-year-old Asma Devi was originally a resident of Dayapurwa village in Kanpur district. For the last four months, she had been living on rent in Sidhrawali village in Bilaspur and working in a private company.
