The eighth round of the 2026 Formula 1 season heads to Spielberg for the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring from 26 to 28 June.
Title leader Kimi Antonelli led Friday practice ahead of the two McLarens of Oscar Piastri and world champion Lando Norris.
Mercedesโ Antonelli holds a 41-point lead over Ferrariโs Lewis Hamilton in the Driversโ Championship after Hamilton won in Barcelona last time out.
Formula Oneโs governing body, the FIA, has declared the race in Austria a dangerous heat race with temperatures forecast to exceed 31C.
The ruling means drivers can use a cooling kit that passes a cooled liquid, such as glycol, through a system of pipes in a fire-resistant top worn under the overalls.
The cooling kit is optional, but any driver who chooses not to use it must carry 5kg of ballast in their car to ensure there is no competitive advantage.
Sundayโs 71-lap Grand Prix will start at 14:00 BST.
