ASSE would reject Besiktas’ offer for Zuriko Davitashvili, the Georgian striker.
The author of the excellent 2025-2026 season, Zuriko Davitashvili (25 years old, 14 goals and 5 assists in 29 Ligue 2 matches), the Saint-Etienne striker, should (again) enliven the Forez club’s summer transfer window. Despite the fact that the contract is valid until June 30, 2028, the Georgian player (54 matches, 7 goals) appears to be leaving.
Like Lucas Stassen, the former Girondins de Bordeaux player would not want to continue for a second season in a row in L2. But ASSE is in a strong position on this issue as well. Firstly, because it does not require cash. And then because his number 22 still has a two-year contract.
ASSE rejects €10 million offer
According to the Turkish press, Besiktas would try their luck in this matter with the first offer, estimated at 10 million euros. The offer was quickly rejected by Loire leaders, who informed their Turkish counterparts that they would not allow their player to leave. Not at this price anyway.
However, according to the same sources, Zuriko Davitashvili is not very enthusiastic about the prospect of moving to the Super League and at the moment would prefer other championships to take the next step in his career. Just like last summer, Zuriko Davitashvili’s soap opera should keep Green supporters on their toes!
