The closure due to a fire on the embankment near the tracks of Stuttgart Central Station has been lifted. A railway spokesman confirmed when asked that the fire had been extinguished. A railway employee reported smoke in the area between the main station and Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. According to firefighters, access to the fire site was difficult.

Previously, the entire main station was closed. The routes in the direction of Bad Cannstatt and North Station are similar.
