Britain’s favorite presenter Alison Hammond, 51, is defending her 23-year age gap relationship with her boyfriend David Putman, 28.
Hammond dismissed any suggestions that their relationship was superficial and attributed Putman’s support to her “shine.” The couple has been dating since 2023.

“I have a wonderful man in my life,” she said. Mirror. “It’s simple. I think that’s when you realize you have something special. He just sees me for who I am. We choose each other every day.”

“It has nothing to do with anyone else. Yes, people will talk. People will talk. But that’s their business, not mine,” she said.
“I don’t think (there will be a wedding). We don’t need to! We’re both cool.”
Putman is a Russian model and massage therapist. The couple now lives together in London.
The couple met in December 2023 when Hammond made an appointment for a massage and Putman took her order. It is reported that they immediately hit it off.
Hammond told UK Daily Mail earlier this year, the couple said they were “so in love with each other,” adding that she wished people wouldn’t pay so much attention to their age difference.
“I completely understand why people are interested when the difference is 22 years,” she said.
“But what I find interesting is that it’s not as interesting when the man is older. Why? I just want people to be happy for us. We’re absolutely in love.”

Hammond recently attributed part of her dramatic weight loss, which she’s been working on for the past five years, to her love life.
According to her, the presenter weighed 190 kg at the worst moment, when fear of diabetes forced her to gain weight.
“My mom had type 2 diabetes and she was worried about me, so when I found out I was prediabetic, it was scary,” she said.Women’s health.
“I thought, ‘I need to be an adult about this.’ I need to give up sweets and fatty foods.”
