The Princess of Wales is no stranger to Wimbledon and visits every year not only to enjoy the tennis, but also to present awards for the women’s and men’s singles finals. For today’s women’s final, the Princess of Wales arrived at the championships in her boldest look yet – a stunning red dress featuring one of the most popular style elements of the 2010s.
The princess waved to the crowd on Saturday (July 11) and looked radiant in a bright, bold shade of red. This V-neck midi dress from Roland Mouret features an A-line skirt and short sleeves, plus one standout detail: a peplum frill. Peplum dresses and tops were a huge trend in the 2010s, especially popular as they are a flattering addition to dresses and skirts that might otherwise be clingy.

Kate styled her long hair in gentle waves and pulled back the front strands into a sophisticated half-updo to keep her hair out of her face in the heat. When Kate was photographed, the temperature at Wimbledon in London was 29 degrees, so she has a warm day ahead of her!

Kate wears a new look every day at Wimbledon. However, there is one accessory that remains a staple; her Wimbledon brooch. Today was no different, with Kate adding a green and purple checkered bow (the iconic colors of Wimbledon) to her red outfit.

Just yesterday, Kate was at another sporting event and this time she had a personal interest in one of the players – her husband, Prince William. The Prince of Wales took part in the 2026 DMMI Royal Charity Polo Cup in Windsor. Kate was there to show her support and also present the winning trophy. For the occasion, the princess hosted a classic English picnic in a black and white checkered dress reminiscent of a picnic blanket.

The princess is expected to return to the championships tomorrow for the men’s singles final. She also made a surprise appearance earlier in the week, taking selfies in line with those waiting outside and even attempting to pick up tickets at the front desk.
While playing tennis, she met legends of the sport, including Sir Andy Murray, who told Good cleaning that the couple discussed parenting and said Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis enjoy playing tennis and padel.
