The government has taken a big step regarding the salaries and pensions of Delhi residents applicable to all police stations and divisions – good news for the people of Delhi. The decision on grievances related to salaries and pensions is applicable to all police stations and divisions.

New Delhi: The Central District Police has introduced a systematic grievance redressal mechanism in all police stations and divisions. Officers from the Administration and Accounts Division will visit each police station and division once every two weeks and resolve problems immediately.

Salaries, pensions, medical expenses, investigation bills, leaves, bills and other service issues will be dealt with on priority basis.

A detailed visit list and monitoring system will be prepared to track complaints and take timely action. To ensure accountability, the Central Region Police have implemented this system in all police stations and divisions.

It is mandatory to record all complaints in a diary.

Recording in the Daily Diary (DD) of all complaints, action taken and cases dealt with has been made mandatory. Central District DCP Rohit Rajveer Singh said that keeping the welfare of police officers as a top priority, the Central District Police has launched a proactive and transparent administrative grievance redressal system.

Its goal is to provide a quick, effective and timely solution to service problems of police officers. On behalf of the DCP, employees of the administrative and accounting department will now visit each police station and division in accordance with the schedule every two weeks.

How many types of pensions are available in Delhi?

• There are currently three types of pensions available in Delhi. The first of these is the old age pension scheme. Under this scheme, it provides monthly assistance to the poor and disadvantaged elderly people of Delhi so that they can lead a dignified life.
• At the same time, senior citizens aged 60 to 69 are paid £2,000 per month. (SC/ST/Minority beneficiaries get an additional Rs. 500 i.e. Rs. 2500 per month). Pensioners aged 70 years and above are paid Rs 2,500 per month.
• Under this, financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month is sent directly to the bank account of eligible women widows.
• Under the Disability Pension Scheme: Beneficiaries are provided with financial assistance of £2,500 per month.
