Ronaldo is one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, but Rodriguez has developed many fans. From a popular Netlfix show to a large social media following, Rodriguez has also become a public figure.

Rodriguez has 74 million Instagram followers and admits life has been different given the attention on Ronaldo.

โ€œI benefit from it a lot because it gives me access to work experience that I wouldnโ€™t be able to enjoy if I was unknown,โ€ Rodriguez told Elleโ€™s Laura Somoza during a Dec. 17, 2025 interview. โ€œI can also help people in need or raise awareness through the interest I generate in certain social causes.

โ€œThe downside is that simple things I did every day before I was with Cristiano โ€“ like going to the gym, walking around central Madrid with a friend or drinking coffee on the terrace without feeling like they were being watched โ€“ are now impossible.โ€

Ronaldo called his future marriage to his fiancรฉe Georgina a โ€œwonderful chapter of his lifeโ€

Ronaldo is clearly hoping the wedding will take place after a deep run at the World Cup. This is likely Ronaldoโ€™s last World Cup of his career.

Regarding the coupleโ€™s engagement, Ronaldo describes the news as a โ€œbeautiful chapterโ€ for the family.

โ€œI always say that good things come at the right time. Iโ€™m going to propose to her because I think itโ€™s the right time, not only because sheโ€™s the mother of my children, but sheโ€™s also the person who is the love of my life,โ€ Ronaldo explained to Morgan, according to People.

โ€œNothingโ€™s going to change just because weโ€™re getting married. Itโ€™s just a beautiful chapter of life.โ€

Ronaldoโ€™s future wife Georgina about the engagement ring: โ€œItโ€™s the least he could offer me after 10 years of waitingโ€

Rodriguez has no problem having a little fun at Ronaldoโ€™s expense. Ronaldoโ€™s future wife joked that an expensive engagement ring was โ€œthe least he could offer meโ€ after more than a decade of marriage.

โ€œItโ€™s gorgeous. Itโ€™s the least he could offer me after ten years of waiting,โ€ Rodriguez told Elle magazine when asked about her new engagement ring. โ€œThe truth is that when he proposed, it was the last thing on my mind.

โ€œIt took me a long time to process the huge stone he gave me. I was so shocked that I left it in my room and didnโ€™t open it in the sun until the next day.โ€
