There will be a packed program of music, dance and theater performances across the city from leading UK and Spanish outdoor arts companies.

Highlights include The Ultimate Player’s Handbook, a vibrant dance performance in which dancers from Manchester troupe Chameleon join forces with dancers from Catalan troupe Clementine & Lisard.

Organizers said the acrobatics, movement, dance and physical theater of Catalan artists Elelei with their play Too Much is not to be missed.

Meanwhile, an immersive traveling theater show from Kamchatka and Zoom-Zoom Theatre’s herd of hot pink inflatable hippos is expected to be a hit with kids of all ages.

Watch out for damsels in distress, mischievous dwarves, a roaming dragon and unicycle-riding knights who are looking to make you laugh as well as the chance to enter the belly of a giant inflatable whale.
