On the evening of Wednesday July 22, a group of travelers attempted to settle on private land located in Amanci. Faced with this occupation, the gendarmes took control of the situation. Negotiations then began on site between the owner of the site, the community members present and the mayor of Amanci, under police supervision.
Spreading slurry to prevent new installation
The discussions lasted about an hour. At the end of the negotiations, the Travelers finally agreed to leave the site, thereby avoiding long-term occupation of the land in question. The farmer took a drastic measure to prevent further installation attempts: he poured slurry over the entire surface.

This initiative, visible in images published on the social network Facebook, is clearly aimed at making the land impassable for possible caravans.
