A man in his 70s has died after a two-vehicle collision on the Sydney Harbor Bridge brought northbound traffic to a standstill this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Bradfield Highway at around 12.40pm following reports of the crash.

Paramedics and police performed CPR on the driver, a man in his 70s, before he was stabilized and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
Police confirmed the man died in hospital. His identity has not yet been officially established.
No other injuries were reported.
The accident has caused major traffic delays on the Sydney Harbor Bridge, with Live Traffic NSW warning motorists to expect significant delays as emergency crews respond.
An investigation into the circumstances of the disaster has begun.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
