Nicolas resists Sérignan’s blackmail
In the morning, Nicholas tries to open the desk drawer, but it is stuck. Valerie then tells him that she had to force him to find out what it contained. She then mentions the famous photo of him and Elizabeth. When she wants to know how much he will have to pay to cover up the matter, Nicholas makes it clear to her that it is none of her business.
Meanwhile, Katherine and Elizabeth meet to take stock of the development of Lauryn’s healing cream. During their conversation, Elizabeth takes the opportunity to ask Catherine about Sérignan. The latter describes him as a brilliant, efficient, talented and reliable person. She also clarifies that she does not regret for a second that she contacted him.
Elizabeth then calls Sérignan and asks for a meeting. They then agree to meet early in the day.
Catherine, for her part, admits to Laurine that Elizabeth called her into her office only to question her about Sérignan. Although the businesswoman tried to convince her that she was thinking about getting into real estate, Katherine is convinced that she is hiding something from him.
During the day, Sérignan meets Elisabeth at L. Cosmétiques. During the conversation, the businesswoman silently mentions the blackmail of which Nicholas was a victim. First of all, she seeks a guarantee that if he agrees to publish the article, that will be the end of it all. Serignan assures that as soon as this request is fulfilled, everything will return to normal.
Elizabeth then calls Nicholas to tell him about the situation. But the director of Midi Libre refuses to give in to blackmail, convinced that he will only be drawn into an endless cycle. Worried about losing Alain, Elisabeth begs him to publish the article if he truly has feelings for her.
So Nicolas asks Mark to add a short description to the model for the weekend edition. But after a few hours, Nicholas changed his mind and ordered the printing to be stopped.
Muriel and Boris get married
Eva realized that she needed help to cope with the loss of her son. So she made an appointment with a psychologist for the following week. A solution that makes it easier for Manu.
At the police station, Commissioner Becker’s group is summing up the results of Alice Lombard’s escape. According to investigators, the fugitive and her accomplice are in Morocco. On the other hand, the police still have no leads in the Eliott murder case. Therefore, Becker asks Alex and Aude not to give up.
Meanwhile, Lauryn tries to convince Catherine to come to Boris and Muriel’s wedding. Although she reminds her how important it is for her to be there, Catherine categorically refuses to attend this union.
In the afternoon, all the guests gather at the magnificent estate to celebrate the union of Boris and Muriel. Arriving at the scene, Eve meets Charles and apologizes to him one last time. The young man understands and assures that he holds no grudge against her.
In a few moments the atmosphere is festive. Muriel and Boris say yes to each other for life. While the guests drink to the happiness of the newlyweds, Eva carefully watches the conversation between Charles, Boris and Muriel. Gradually, several memories return to her: the trial of Natalie Jimenez and some of the questions asked by Muriel, then her conversation with Catherine Laumier about the adoption of Toma. When she hears Boris tell the little boy, “Go and see daddy,” Eva looks black. She seems to understand something too.
At the same time, Boris tells Muriel how happy he is that he married her. He also says he wants to be able to expand his family.
