Munich – Now it’s official! FC Bayern announced the signing of Nathaniel Brown (23) from Eintracht Frankfurt. According to BILD, the Munich team will pay a transfer fee of around 50 million euros plus up to five million euros in bonuses for the German left-back and give him a contract until 2031.
BILD caught up with the Amberg native on Thursday at 8:34 a.m. in front of the Barmwarme Brüder clinic in Munich’s Nymphenburg district, where he underwent the first part of a medical examination (heart, kidneys, lungs). Team manager Sonny Scherer then took him to Bayern’s headquarters on Sebener Strasse. The club has now officially confirmed its commitment.
CEO Jan-Christian Dresen (58) is quoted in the accompanying press release as follows: “Nathaniel Brown brings with him a profile that is highly sought after in modern football. He has developed a lot recently with his speed and dynamism and we are all convinced that he is a great fit for Bayern. Together we want to take the next step – and at the same time this transfer underlines our desire to link young leading German players with Bayern at an early stage. has always been part of our DNA and must remain so in the future.”

Bayern brought DFB star Braun from Frankfurt
For Brown, becoming a record champion is a highlight of his career so far and certainly encouraging after the big disappointment at the World Championships. Brown was recently part of the German team at the mega-tournament (until July 19 in the USA, Canada and Mexico). Knocked out in the 1/8 finals against Paraguay (4:5 nE)..
After the holiday, Brown begins a new chapter in coach Vincent Kompany’s team (40) after 75 appearances for Frankfurt (7 goals, 13 assists). Having become a two-time winner last season, the speedy left-back will battle first with Alphonso Davies (24) for the regular left-back position.
Interesting: Max Eberl (52) suggests that the new guy can be used in another position: “Nathaniel Brown has VM Set the tone and show why we’ve been dealing with this for a long time. He will expand our capabilities in defense and midfield,” said Munich’s sporting director.
The player, born in Amberg, Bavaria, says it himself: Bayern are one of the best clubs in the world. The chance to play for this club means an incredible amount to me and fills me with pride. I’m also from Bavaria, which makes it even more special. I have always dreamed of playing for the biggest titles at the highest level, I have set the highest goals for myself and I want to get the best out of myself every day. I quickly got a great feeling when I spoke with the people in charge. Vincent Kompany, in particular, gave me a great feeling, showed me how he sees me and my development, and absolutely convinced me.”
