The World Cup final is just around the corner, the culmination of more than a month of elite international football coming down to one game and one champion team.
Spain will face Argentina in the big game, with Spain seeking their first men’s title since 2010 and Argentina hoping to be in the tournament again after winning in 2022.

The game will be broadcast live on SBS and streamed on SBS On Demand.

Who is playing in the World Cup final?
Spain and Argentina the last two teams competing at this World Cup. They will meet for the first time in the World Cup final.
Spain beat tournament favorites France in the semi-finals to reach the decider, while Argentina pulled off a dramatic victory over England.
Spain played disciplined and stylish football throughout the tournament, while Argentina made a habit of making big leaps and late comebacks inspired by the incredible Lionel Messi.

Where is the World Cup final?
The final will be played in New Jersey at a tournament known for this tournament as New York New Jersey Stadium.
More than 80,000 people will attend the tournament, including US President Donald Trump, for the first time in the entire tournament.
What about the final World Cup half-time show?
For the first time, a World Cup final will include an extended half-time show, not unlike those leading up to the Super Bowl.
With performances from Shakira, Madonna, Justin Bieber, BTS and othersFIFA will be forced to extend the half-time break well beyond the 15 minutes stipulated by its own rules.
There will also be a closing ceremony before the game, with performances by Post Malone and Robbie Williams, and Tom Cruise will also appear in some way.
