Vancouver, British Columbia – The Vancouver Canucks and the National Hockey League (NHL) today announced the team’s full schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Canucks will open the season on the road against the Edmonton Oilers at 7:00 pm on September 29 at Rogers Place before returning to Vancouver for their home opener on Thursday, October 1 against the Oilers at 7:00 pm.

Following their home opener, the Canucks will continue their first three games at home against the Calgary Flames on Saturday, October 3 and conclude on Sunday, October 4 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

- Vancouver opens its 57th season on the road against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Canucks’ first regular-season game in September in franchise history.
- The defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes will take to the shore at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m.

- Lucky number seven: Vancouver’s longest home game of the 2026.27 season will be seven games, starting on Monday, February 1 against the Montreal Canadiens and ending on Sunday, February 21 against the Boston Bruins.
- Back to back: The Canucks will play 11 straight games this season, including two each in October, November, January and March, plus one to end the regular season.
- Road trip: The longest road trip of the season in Vancouver will take place from January 18 to 30, making seven stops and visiting six of the eight Central Division teams.
- New starts: Start times will vary this season due to time zone differences and daylight saving time. Fans can look forward to eight Saturday home games starting at 8:00 p.m., plus a Wednesday, March 3 matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks at 8:00 p.m.
- Weekly Planner: Fans can see the Canucks 24 times on Saturday this season, more than on any day of the week. Vancouver has the fewest games on Fridays, with the team playing just five times. The distribution by day of the week is as follows:

* All Star Game: The NHL All-Star Game and All-Star Skills competition will resume on February 5th and 6th at UBS Arena on Long Island, New York. The All-Star Game will feature five international teams (Canada, Finland, Sweden, the United States, and a world team consisting of international players from countries other than the four other participating countries) who will compete in a three-on-three tournament. The All-Star Skills competition will feature 10 stars aged 25 and under. They will compete in eight disciplines including fastest skater, strongest throw, precision shooting and more!
The team also announced dates and opponents today for the 2026.27 preseason schedule. The schedule includes four games, two at Rogers Arena and two on the road, with the first game set for Saturday, Sept. 19 in Seattle.
Vancouver will face the Seattle Kraken twice during the pre-season, starting on the road and ending with an exhibition schedule at Rogers Arena. Vancouver will also visit the Calgary Flames and host the Edmonton Oilers.
