The following nine games will be released from PS Plus Extra on August 18, 2026:
Unlike PS Plus Essential The tier at which you gain access to games for the duration of your subscription to the service after they are activated, the PS Plus Extra tier revokes access once you stop accessing the games. If you want to continue playing any of the above, you will have to purchase them after August 18, 2026.
Of the outgoing games, the ones that stand out the most are Unicorn Overlord and Dead Island 2. Both are high quality games that I’d recommend you play before they come out – just under a month of access should be enough to start and finish each of them.
Elsewhere, there’s plenty of mindless fun to be had in Earth Defense Force 6, with Harold Halibut and Rocky providing an intriguing indie experience.
