Wimbledon picks: best tennis bets for Saturday 4th July

by OmarAli
Frances Tiafoe celebrates a point at Wimbledon in 2026.

Wimbledon 2026 has officially kicked off at the All England Club in London. We’ve broken down the best tennis bets of the day, delving into match tactics, surface trends and current form to find the sharpest edges on the board. Whether you’re betting on the moneyline, game spread, set spread or total, our best Wimbledon 2026 bets will help you make a profit. I’ll post some of my favorite plays from Saturday, July 4th below, but be sure to keep an eye on the selection page. I usually have a few more options to choose from, plus I sometimes add moves depending on how the lines are moving. This is where Gill Alexander places his bets.

Karen Khachanov vs. Flavio Cobolli

If you just look at these two names, what they’ve accomplished in 2026, and where they currently stand in the rankings, Cobolli seems to be on the right side. However, Cobolli has historically had difficulty playing against strong players on hard courts and grass, and he has not had much success on grass during his career. Meanwhile, according to Tennis Abstract, Khachanov shows 34-21 on this surface. And although it has been a difficult year for the Russian, he seems to be feeling comfortable. After a four-set win over Billy Harris in the first round, Khachanov crushed Yannick Hanfmann. The 30-year-old must now be ready to beat Cobolli.

It’s just hard not to feel like Cobolli’s lack of reliable pitching will cost him dearly. Khachanov can be extremely difficult to break on grass, and the 6ft 6in Russian also has a baseline game that allows him to hold his own against Cobolli in longer rallies.

Khachanov also beat Cobolli in Madrid in their only head-to-head meeting. These are server-friendly conditions for a clay court, but it’s still clay. If Cobolli couldn’t beat Khachanov on clay, why should I believe he’ll do it on grass?

Bet: Khachanov ML (-141 – 1.5 units)

Daria Snigur vs Ashlyn Kruger
Madison Keys vs. Amanda Anisimova

I was counting on Snigur and Kis for Saturday’s match, so I’m taking both of them to win the set in a two-legged game. It’s still a bit pricey at -143, but I really like the odds.

Kruger’s serve is difficult to return on all surfaces, but Snigur has the advantage almost everywhere. She’s a much better baseline player than Krueger, and I also believe she returns a lot more. Snigur also looked dominant from the start of this tournament, beating Elina Svitolina and Leolia Zhanzhan in straight sets. I don’t see her giving up here without a fight.

According to Keys, this all-American confrontation should be fireworks for Independence Day. These two can hit the ball, but I like Keys’ chances of winning at least a set – and winning the match. Keys has played very well the last couple of weeks and is having a tough time playing her best tennis. Meanwhile, Anisimova got to this point, but it didn’t look good. She has also had some issues with recurring injuries this season.

PARLEY: Snigur +1.5 sets and Keys +1.5 sets (-143 – 1.5 units)

Alexander Bublik vs Frances Tiafoe

I know a lot of people love the idea of supporting the Big Enemy – especially on the 4th of July – but Bagel is the best player on the grass. In the 12 non-major grass court matches Bublik has played over the last three years, he has a TennisViz performance rating of 8.15. Meanwhile, Tiafoe may have recently won the title in Halle, but his figure has dropped to 7.60. That’s a pretty big gap in a pretty sizable sample.

Bagel is simply a more powerful server, plus his base game may cause problems for Tiafoe. Bublik’s strength and ability to mix up off-speed stuff always keeps opponents off balance, and Tiafoe is a player who needs a little time on the ball to prepare for some of his awkward-looking shots.

I know people will point to Tiafoe beating Bublik on these courts in 2022, but the world No. 11 is a completely different player than he was then. I think he ruined Tiafoe’s party.

Bet: Bublik ML (+105 – 1.5 units)

WL 2026 record: 903–1040 (+8.72 units)
