UK distributor Yana Supervisor, Ahimsa Entertainment has confirmed that the film will be released in UK cinemas in an uncut version. The announcement was made on Sunday on X.
Sharing the news, Ahimsa Entertainment wrote, “HONORABLE CHIEF MINISTER OF TAMIL NADU. WITH JOSEPH VIJAY. #JanaNayagan in UK cinemas July 24 – uncut, rated 15. All the action, all the weight, all the excitement of Thalapathy, exactly the way it was meant to be shown. For the last time.”

Yana Supervisor Receives “A” certificate in India
The film has been given an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). According to the certification document, Yana Supervisor has a duration of 183 minutes and 11 seconds (3 hours and 3 minutes) and was certified on July 9.

The CBFC has suggested 12 modifications before the film releases in theatres.
According to the certificate, the image of Dr. BR Ambedkar on the cover of the book has been changed. The dialogue referring to “Ambedkar… to… TVK sattam” was replaced and the use of “TVK” in both audio and video was muted and changed.
The council also ordered the removal of images depicting the Indian national flag in one episode. The words “Bhagavatan” and “Ranganathar” were muted, as were “Tevidiya Paya” and “Otta”.
Another modification requires removing the word “OM” wherever it is used in dialogue explaining Operation Melukha. In the same sequence, dialogue regarding the hanging of Saddam Hussein was muted or replaced.
The CBFC has also advised the makers to remove and replace the image in which the district collector’s office icon is shown disrespectfully folded. He also asked that the entire dialogue starting with “Ponnoda… kuduthu vachirukkanu, Udambu erukkunu” be muted.
Another dialogue containing the words “India en kalla vizha vaikaren” was also disabled. The image of children being burned was removed and replaced, and the word “Siluvailah” was disabled.
Finally, the CBFC has instructed the makers to replace the name ‘Sheela Rani’ wherever it appears in the film.
In total, the board ordered 20 seconds of deletions and 10 seconds of substitutions, with the final length of the film remaining unchanged at 183 minutes and 11 seconds.
Directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamita Baiju.
