There is no rest for the wicked! Or the residents of Genoa, as it turned out. One villain after another returned to terrorize people, and to top it off, one kidnapping after another. What else could go wrong? Fine, Young and Restless have just set the stage for the next chilling plot twist.
Tuesday’s episode established that Patty was locked up (at least for now) and was no longer a threat, but her accomplice, Dr. Lawrence Markham, was a completely different case.

Diana went into complete panic when Michael informed her that although there was a warrant for the deviant’s arrest, he had disappeared after answering questions at the police station and was nowhere to be found. When Diane expressed concern that he would come looking for her again, Michael assured her that he had her back.

That’s all well and good, but given that we believe Markham could become a twisted, fresh-faced Martin Laurent, Diana may not be the only one to worry about. In fact, we think we know exactly which will hit him right in the crosshairs.
Even though Tracy, his ex-fiancée, has already looked Lawrence in the eye and gone cold, we don’t believe it’s her. or Diana, who will end up facing a madman. Jack is out of shape and Kyle is focused on getting revenge on Victor, so they’re probably out as well. That leaves none other than Martin’s first victim, Ashley.
Ashley had been friends with psychiatrist Alan Laurent for a long time and became a victim of his evil twin Martin in Paris. Martin, of course, was presumed dead after the balcony fight with Alan, and it wasn’t until Tracy got engaged to the guy that we realized he was actually a bad seed. His reign of terror didn’t end until Tracy put the pieces together after Martin held Sharon and Phyllis captive, tortured them and nearly killed them.
If Lawrence is Martin, he returned to the canvas at the same time as the powers that were returned to Ashley, just I can’t be a coincidence. She will definitely end up in his crosshairs. She might even be able to honor him and end him forever.

Today’s episode sent shivers down our spines, just as it did for Diana when we realized that Young and Restless setting the stage for him to return to another chilling chapter of his story. What this will bring remains to be seen. Keep tuning in to find out!
