It’s no secret that Gilberto Mora is in full view of the whole world. For several months now, Mexico’s most talented footballer has attracted the attention of more than one major European club. Now that the Xolos de Tijuana player has arrived at the World Cup as the youngest player, interest has increased.
Last Wednesday, Mora made his first start in the game between Mexico and the Czech Republic. Although he was not awarded as such, the youngster was named man of the match by many. Gilberto’s speech against the Czechs immediately caused a reaction from the European market.

The press in England reports that Manchester United scouts were present at the match between Mexico and the Czech Republic. They were impressed with Mora’s performance on the field.
At the Premier League club, the Mexican is seen as a player who plays with a calmness uncharacteristic for a young man of his age. He makes decisions with the ball that are unusual for a boy who is only 17 years old. This intellectual maturity has led to Mora being a very interesting bet for his future at United.

In this regard, the sports direction of the club made a decision regarding its interest in Mora. The Premier League club will be keeping a close eye on the Mexican until the end of the World Cup and if he lives up to expectations, they will be targeting him without thinking about this summer’s market.
It is important to note that Gilberto will only be able to make the jump to Europe until the winter of 2027, when he turns 18. The above does not mean that United or any other team from the old continent cannot make a purchase right now.
