You best know actor Oliver Korittke as the best friend of the antiquarian and private detective Wilsberg in the ZDF series of the same name. Although his character Ekki Tagliötter is mostly unlucky in love, the actor seems to have already found happiness.

Profile of Oliver Korittke

At the age of four he was already in front of the camera

Oliver Koritke was noticed on television as a child. At the age of four he was already in front of the camera in Sesame Street and in 1985 in Black Forest Clinic. He celebrated his breakthrough in the 1990s with such hits as Model Boys (1997) and Bang Boom Bang Cool (1999). Since 2005, he has played tax inspector Ekki Tagliötter in the TV series Wilsberg.

Oliver Korittke is a passionate collector.

The 57-year-old Berliner does not allow too much to be said about his personal life. What is known, however, is his passion for sneakers and Star Wars action figures. He has a huge collection of both. Sometimes he even turned it into a museum. What about passion for women?

Fellow Playboy bunnies

In 2001, Oliver Korittke married his colleague Monica Nancy Wick. Among other things, she appeared in his film “Bang Boom Bang”. The divorce took place in 2005, but the couple were separated for a long time.

In 2002, Korittke met another colleague: Tabea Heinig, known for Forbidden Love and Unter Uns. “It was a great time. Berlin was just becoming really fashionable, and I was very happy,” Heinig told Bild in 2024. But after two years of a long-distance relationship between Munich and Berlin, it all ended: “Oliver was invited to a Playboy party and he went there without me. He actually met a Playboy bunny that night, which ultimately led to the breakup,” said the actress, who was very upset about the breakup.

Korittke completely confidential

Oliver Korittke has been in a relationship with German-Serbian actress (The Other Parents) and artist Miriam Verena Jeremic since 2013. The 41-year-old actor had a daughter in the relationship. Their daughter Frida was born in 2016.

In an interview with Bild, the actor shared a surprising amount of private information for that time: “The baby and I take turns. Sometimes I take her for two days so she can go to work. Then she is left alone again for two days.” Korittke wanted to be a real father: “So far, the maximum has been six days in a row when I haven’t seen her. I don’t want it to get to the point where my girlfriend will tell me at some point: she can talk now, but I won’t come home until a week later. I want to see her grow up. This is too important for me to miss.”

Second marriage after the birth of daughter Frida?

When asked about a possible wedding, the actor did not want to make any commitments after the birth of Frida, but did not rule anything out in an interview with Bild: “We are thinking about a wedding. The birth of our daughter connected us so much that I can imagine it.”

When the actor was asked about this statement in 2020, he told Riot magazine: “I must have been in a complete daddy hormonal frenzy. I’ve been married once before and it wasn’t exactly the best experience of my life.” He and Mirijam have been together for six years. “We don’t have to get married. She’s my partner, my wife, the mother of my child. Plus inside I’m still that little rascal who ran through my grandparents’ bar – I want to stay that way. Anything else would be a lie,” he explains.

Unusual family model

In the same interview, Koritke also admitted that he does not live with his family: “Partnership in this job is no picnic. Precisely because you are often absent, Miriam also plays herself. That’s why we don’t live together. Miriam lives in Prenzlberg, where Frida goes to kindergarten, and on weekends she is with me in Lankwitz.” It is unknown whether anything has changed in this unusual family model to this day.
