Neil McCann has named his first Kilmarnock starting XI of the 2026 pre-season for today’s friendly against Glentoran.

Killie take on the Northern Irish side at the Oval in Belfast at 1pm with the aim of getting more minutes, building relationships on the park and generally speeding up preparations for the start of the Premier Sports Cup campaign on Tuesday 14 July.

The team have been in Northern Ireland since Sunday evening and have been working hard on the training ground over the last 48 hours, with the reward being a game this afternoon.

Max Stryjek starts between the sticks, with Michael Schönning-Larsen, Ethan Schilte-Brown, Robbie Dees and Euan Bowie in defence.

Ruari Ellis anchors our midfield, with Mark O’Hara and Nicky Kleshchenko supporting Greg Kielty in the center of the park behind the front two of Joe Hugill and Cole Coughlin.

Starting XI: Stryjek, O’Hara, Deas, Hugill, Kilty, Kleshchenko, Schenning-Larsen, Schilte-Brown, Ellis, Bowie, Coughlin.

Spare parts: Ferry, Thompson, Mackenzie, John-Jules, Stanger, Lowry, Thomson, Maturen, Brannan, Owen, Brown.
