First week of Marvin Fischer’s “Hello Germany” on ZDF: From Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026, viewers will see the new host at 5:10 p.m. ET. which will take them through a mixture of current events and everyday stories. Marvin Fischer will represent the successful news and tabloid magazine ZDF alternately with Sandra Maria Groenewald.
After the launch week, Marvin Fischer will present “Hello Germany” on ZDF for three weeks, from July 20, 2026, Monday to Friday at 17:10. In the second week of August, Sandra Maria Groenewald will again moderate “Hello Germany”, which again presents the news and tabloid magazine ZDF from 2024, as she did in 2011–2020.

“Hello Germany” has been broadcast on ZDF since June 16, 1997. The everyday magazine provides reliable and varied information on current topics close to people’s life situations. The format constantly remains young with new ideas. Since October 2023, “Hello Germany” has been broadcast on ZDF with extended broadcast times from Monday to Friday from 17:10. until 18:00. Marvin Fischer is the eleventh host in nearly 30 years of broadcasting “Hello Germany.” The team of presenters over the past decade has included Sandra Maria Groenewald, Lissy Ishag, Babette von Kienlin and Tim Niedernolte.
Information about Marvin Fisher
Marvin Fischer was the moderator of “Maintower”, the tabloid television magazine of Hessischer Rundfunk, from 2020 to 2026. After studying social sciences and completing an internship at Radio Emscher Lippe, he first worked as a radio presenter. In parallel to his television career, he remains involved with radio and continues to broadcast on YOU FM, which has now moved into the new program “DasDing” from HR, SWR and SR.
