There were moments of tension during the performance. Trial in the death of Diego Maradona. This Tuesday Lawyers Fernando Burlando and Francisco Oneto found themselves on the verge of physical violence. The day seemed calm as only one witness was going to testify. However, the lawyers almost came to blows and the police had to intervene to calm the situation.
What did the witness say?
The only witness to testify was Julio Soria, one of those in charge of Diego’s safety.. The man began his story like this: “In 2015, I started working as Diego’s security guard, we accompanied him, made moves. When he actually began to stay in Argentina, we began to work actively. I provided services there in the houses of Campos de Roca, Bellavista and the last one in Tigre, where I stayed for several days.”
” Luque visited him because he was Diego’s doctor. I met him at a house in Nordelt. Those of us who worked in Diego’s house knew that he was a doctor. I worked for a long time and saw Luke many times,” the witness admitted.
The man admitted that Luque was Maradona’s doctor: “I talked to Luque, if I saw that Maradona looked bad, for example with swollen legs, I would have told him. There was one day when I saw that Diego looked bad and I told him, and in the afternoon he was taken to a sanatorium.” Meanwhile, when asked if he ever had to pay attention to Maradona’s health, he explained: “In 2020, he had knee surgery, he had difficulty moving, we helped him when we moved him so that he could get into a car or truck. He also drank alcohol; we knew he shouldn’t drink. “I talked about this problem with Diego and Luque.”

He The first moment of tension occurred when prosecutor Cosme Iribarren announced a conversation between Luque and Soria. from the first days of November 2020. They revealed that it was the security officers who told the neurosurgeon who came to see Maradona.
A chat exchange on November 7 provoked a fight: “If another doctor comes, he will explode” and “I will take care of your work”were some of the messages that Soria sent to Leopoldo Luca. The witness claimed that these were joke messages, so the prosecution asked to be considered a hostile witness.

Bullying and Oneto on the verge of aggression
Then, Burlando asked the judges to remind Soria of the criminal consequences of making false statements. Oneto said that the latter constituted a threat, to which Dalma and Gianinna’s lawyer replied: “This is your client.” The situation escalated and there was a loud exchange of words and shouts. The judges ordered a fourth break.
Things got out of control when they crossed paths again in the corridors. “You’re an idiot,” Burlando Oneto would say. The latter allegedly replied: “Go dance, clown.” That’s when the police intervened and the judges summoned both. After this episode, sanctions may be applied to them.
