Invoicing against illegal dumping

Leaving a box, old furniture, trash bag or bulky items on the sidewalk or in a public place is not a trivial gesture. Illegal dumping degrades our environment, damages the municipality’s image and poses a safety and environmental threat.

Municipal services do not systematically collect these deposits, since there are free solutions: a recycling center (Chemin des Prés) and collection of bulky items at home, a free service by appointment offered by Lunel Agglo Tel. : 08 00 03 44 00 (toll-free) or register online on the Lunel Agglo website, waste section.

Regarding illegal deposits, removal and cleanup by municipal services are observed. An automatic count will now be applied to the offender. For individuals, depending on the size of the deposit, the fine will range from 60 to 1000 euros. For professionals from 480 to 4000 euros. We must work together to do our part to keep the community clean and welcoming while remaining respectful of the environment.
