This Saturday, July 25, Villava Atarrabia will once again be the protagonist of La Indurain, a cycling tour dedicated to Miguel Indurain and annually attracting thousands of cycling enthusiasts.
In celebration of this bike tour, some traffic reductions and restrictions will need to be implemented to ensure the safety of participants and the public.
Traffic restrictions on Calle Mayor (between La Cadena and Yrigoyen)
Due to the large influx of people, Calle Mayor will be closed to traffic between the intersection of La Cadena and Calle Yrigoyen at the following times:
- From 7:00 to 8:15 am.
- From 10:00 to 18:00.
Residents in this area are asked if they need to use their vehicle during these timeslots to remove it from the garage before the traffic closure begins.
Access to garages in remaining affected areas
In the rest of Calle Mayor (up to Trinidad de Arre), as well as in Calle Yrigoyen and Calle Pedro Atarrabia, access to garages will be allowed throughout the day, with the exception of certain times when undergoing a test results in the need to temporarily interrupt traffic for security reasons.
Exit from the garages will be guaranteed at any time, but only in the direction of Arre.
