IND vs ENG: Vaibhav Suryavanshi makes his debut, these players will be blamed for Ireland's defeat, India's performance in the 11th match against England will be the same! - Vaibhav Suryavanshi debuts Sanju Samson, who will miss India after playing 11 in the first T20 against England

After losing the Test series to Ireland 2-0, Team India would like to get back into the England series. This series will see a big change in the Indian team’s 11 players.

What will India’s No. 11 batting look like against England?New Delhi: The wound from the humiliating defeat to Ireland is yet to heal as the Indian team now faces a tough challenge from England. The first match of the five-match T20 International series will be played on Wednesday. After the series defeat in Ireland, there is immense pressure on captain Shreyas Iyer and the team management to make a comeback. In this match, India may make some drastic and unexpected changes to their squad so that the team can make a comeback.

Vaibhav may get a chance instead of Samson

The biggest attraction in this match could be 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He is expected to make his debut on Wednesday after sitting on the bench for both matches against Ireland. He can be tried as an opener in place of Sanju Samson, who was the player of the 2026 T20 World Cup tournament. Samson’s recent form has been very poor, with him being out for 5 runs in the first match against Ireland and a golden duck in the second match. Apart from this, wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan’s poor form (13 runs in two matches) has also heightened the team’s concerns, with his place in the playing eleven also at stake.

Shreyas Iyer would like to improve his record

Even as change is blowing in the top order, the team will once again be hoping for a bright start from world No. 1 T20 batsman Abhishek Sharma. Abhishek played a stormy innings of 49 runs off just 20 balls in the first match against Ireland, which fully secured his place. On the other hand, this match is very important for captain Shreyas Iyer personally. To date, in the history of Indian cricket, no captain has lost his first three T20 International matches. To avoid this unwanted record, Iyer would like to revive both his captaincy and his batting.

Eyes are on the all-rounders and bowling.

Mumbai all-rounder Suryansh Shedge got a chance to make his debut in the second match against Ireland but failed with both the ball and the bat. Now it will be interesting to see whether management continues to believe in him or not. Vice-captain and experienced all-rounder Axar Patel will have dual responsibilities of managing the middle order and heading the spin department. In fast bowling, the responsibility for initial success on English pitches will fall on the shoulders of Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh and Prince Yadav.

India’s likely lineup for the first T20 match:

Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Ishan Kishan (watchman), Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Verma, Shivam Dubey, Akshar Patel, Suryansh Shedge, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav
