Attention: scarves in London! It appears that only around 1,200 official scarves have been issued for Hansa’s away game at Watford (Saturday, 3pm) on match day, but around 6,000 Hansa fans are expected on the island. Even hours before the game, many fans are increasingly worried that if you’re late, you could leave empty-handed.
There has been a buzz in the fan shop for a long time. An employee told BILD: “We feel rushed. Perhaps we’ll order more.”
Game day scarves are likely to sell out soon.
The numbers show how big the blue and white invasion has now reached. Around Watford Junction station, in front of the pubs and in the streets around the stadium, crowds gather hours before kick-off. Colors of the Hansa. Many fans began looking for one of the treasured scarves immediately after their arrival – fearing to be left empty-handed.
Night on the highway
Lutz Bartel is one of the lucky ones. Soon after his arrival, the Hansa supporter already had one of the treasured scarves in his hands. However, he also took an unusual trip with his son Rene and his girlfriend.

On Wednesday evening, the three got into a car in Fürstenwald (Brandenburg). Then we headed towards England all night. While most people slept, they sat on the highway, driving kilometer after kilometer and making their way through the darkness to the coast. “No path is too far,” Barthel says. There were about 1,300 kilometers between home and London.
Family flight instead of ferry
Not everyone was ready to spend the night on the track. Some took the faster route. How test game As soon as everything became clear, Kay from Lübeck immediately booked flights, hotels and flights. And then there: his children Alicia and Cahill. This is the first visit to London for both of them.
