Galway retired the number 10 jersey this weekend as a mark of respect to the late Paul Clancy, who passed away on Monday.

Sein Dโ€™Arcy will wear the number 22 shirt at right half-back when Padraic Joyceโ€™s side take on Dublin at Croke Park on Sunday (4pm) for a place in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-finals.

The only change to the line-up since the Tribesmenโ€™s win over Westmeath two weeks ago is that Shane McGrath starts at centre-half and Fionn McDonagh drops to the bench.

On the occasion of Clancyโ€™s funeral taking place today, Galway GAA said: โ€œAs a mark of respect to the late Paul Clancy, may he rest in peace, the number 10 shirt that Paul proudly wore as a player will not be used in Sundayโ€™s match. Our thoughts are with Joanna, Ellen, Finn and the Clancy family, Paulโ€™s friends and former teammates who are gathering today to say goodbye to him. Ar dheis Dรฉ go raibh a anam Dilis.
