After a record heat wave hit the UK this week, the door has opened to cooler, fresher air coming in from the Atlantic.
In addition to changing temperatures, more unsettled weather is expected in the forecast for the start of the week.
While many places will be dry with sunny skies Monday afternoon, an area of โโlow pressure will move in during the evening and overnight.
This means thicker clouds and showers will move in from the west on Monday evening.
Much of this cloudy and wet weather will affect Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. The best chances for clear skies will be in the Midlands, Wales and southern England.
