On June 27, the third division team “Fortuna” began preparations for the new season. After convincing wins in test matches against lower-class rivals Monheim, St. Tönis and Benrath from the region, a showdown with MFK Ružomberok from Slovakia was on the agenda. Fortuna won with a score of 2-0. Now we are waiting for the second test at the training camp: at 15:30 Fortuna will meet with the Austrian two-time winner Linzer ASK.
After that, the following games are scheduled: against Borussia Dortmund (July 25, 13:00, Arena) and possibly another game next week.
