Influencer Nara Smith has confirmed that her two-year-old daughter has cancer and is undergoing treatment.
The 24-year-old content creator opened up about his diagnosis for the first time in an emotional video posted to Instagram, explaining that Wimsey Lou was diagnosed with cancer late last year.

“It’s not easy to say this, but late last year our daughter Wimsey was diagnosed with cancer,” she said in the video.
Nara opened up about the moment she and her husband Lucky Blue Smith first noticed something was wrong with their baby.
“When we saw something suspicious about her, we took her to the emergency room, and they didn’t quite know what to do about it,” she explained.
“When we took her to our pediatrician, I remember him being very quiet and calm… At that moment my heart sank.
“I don’t know if it was my intuition or just my mom’s intuition that told me something, but the first thing I felt was that she had cancer.”
The couple took Wimsey to the children’s hospital for further testing and after X-rays, an ultrasound and a biopsy, they were diagnosed.
“They called us immediately and told us she had cancer, they said it had spread and that she needed to come in immediately and start chemotherapy,” Nara said.
The influencer, who went viral on social media for content about her “traditional wife”, said it had been a difficult time for their family and Whimsy was their priority.

“Many of you may have realized that I’ve been posting a little less, and here’s why,” she added.
“Finding all of this and dealing with it postpartum, as well as loving and caring for our other children at home, as well as being in hospital a lot with Wimsey and juggling work with that, was really difficult.”
Nara and Lucky are also parents to five-year-old Rumble Honey, four-year-old Slim Easy and nine-month-old Faunya Golden. Lucky also has another daughter, Gravity, whom he shares with ex Stormi Brie.

Home the author admitted that she struggles “daily” to find balance.
“Some days are a little easier, some days are really hard, and all I can do is try my best and perform the best I can in all those areas,” Nara added.
She also explained that her intention in sharing the video was in the hopes that it would bring comfort to others, and for some people it might encourage them to check out something they’ve been avoiding.

“Grateful to every nurse and doctor along the way who helped us get to the other end,” she captioned the post.
In the video, the mother of four children did not specify the current state of Wimsey’s health.
Nara and Lucky have been together since 2019.
The couple got engaged that same year and tied the knot in 2020 before starting to grow their family.
