Spent five years in solitary confinement

The letter, as well as numerous statements, confirm what he told Guy Debuisson during his last visits to the prison visiting room. These two lawyers, father and son, whose names are associated with the last major criminal cases in the region (Viguier, the Bouloc runner or the disappearance of Amandine Estrabeau), managed to release the words of a person who had previously been closed in the face of excessive media coverage of the case and the use of medication. Antipsychotics and antipsychotics that would help weaken him after five years spent in solitary confinement, starting June 18, 2021, the date of his imprisonment.

“He admitted his involvement.”

“Over these last months I have been able to create a real bond of trust with Cédric Jubillar. I felt like a weakened person who needed to speak. And during our meetings, he was relieved to admit his involvement in this case after all these years when he felt mistreated by investigators and pressured by the media. In this process, he also wants to bury the mother of his two children. I am proud of this work, done in the name of truth and in the interests of justice,” adds Pierre Debuisson, the great architect of this judicial turnaround.

In this letter, which we were able to read, Cédric Jubillar remembers the evening of December 15-16, 2020.in Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn). That evening, another argument breaks out within the couple amid a family crisis, and the 33-year-old nurse from Tarn plans to start a new life with her lover. The dispute escalated into an extremely tense atmosphere in which insults were reportedly made. “For now, Cedric Jubillar leaves before the court the details of the circumstances of his wife’s disappearance and puts himself completely at his disposal to provide all the necessary details,” his two lawyers continue.

The blue Peugeot 207 was actually used to transport the remains of Delphine Jubillar. Regarding the location of the body, the detainee also says that he is ready to provide all the information necessary for the truth. However, according to him, a number of elements that make up a bundle of serious and consistent evidence do not correspond to reality. Especially the position of the car. A vehicle that, despite its movement, did not change the direction of the parking lot, contrary to what many witnesses have always stated, including Delphine Jubillar’s “best” friend.

Will the trial take place in September?

These confessions, recorded in writing, represent an important turning point more than five years after the events. A twist that will now force justice to start from scratch as everything will have to be redone.

Neither the gendarmerie investigators, nor the investigators, nor the various judges of the Court of Appeal were able, in five years of investigation, despite the guilty verdicts they handed down, to achieve what Cédric Jubillar’s new lawyers can reveal today. Additional information can be revealed by President Marie Leclerc, which requires several steps.

Found the body of his missing wife

First, listen to Cedric Jubillar and record his confession about his wife’s disappearance in the transcript of the hearing. An important step for which the main party has already prepared. Then, on the instructions of the detainee, searches should be carried out in order to locate the remains of his wife. Will it be possible to determine the causes of death based on the tests performed? Obviously, that’s the whole point of these new investigations, which will likely take time. The new trial, due to begin at the Toulouse Court of Appeal on September 21 and last four weeks, will inevitably take on a different dimension. At first instance in Albi, Cédric Jubillard was sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder. Until now, he has always maintained his innocence.

His then lawyers M.es Alexandre Martin and Emmanuel Frank appealed this verdict. In early 2026, Cédric Jubillar ended his partnership with the duo in order to take over M.es Pierre and Guy Debuisson. Having admitted his guilt, the plasterer artist is now freed from the burden. We can imagine the relief on the part of the civilian parties, who, for their part, never doubted his involvement in the whole affair.
