EastEnders This week’s episodes will be shown a full day early on BBC iPlayer. New episodes of the soap will air from Monday to Thursday this week, despite the live TV schedule releasing episodes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Episodes will air at 6am each day before airing on TV at 7.30pm, meaning fans of the show will be able to watch Friday’s installment on demand a full 24 hours before it airs live.
Coverage of Wimbledon and the World Cup over the past few weeks has seen disruptions to TV series schedules, leading to double billings and days without new series episodes.

Coronation Street And Emmerdale There were also similar changes to the schedule: Monday went as planned, but there were no new episodes on Tuesday. However, as the World Cup comes to an end on Sunday, regular soap delivery is expected to resume as before.
Sharing the news in a post on X, fans were quick to share their thoughts on the iPlayer change, with one user asking: “Why not just align the TV schedules,” adding: “This means Friday’s episode will be available on iPlayer for over 24 hours before people see it on TV.”
Another opined that “this is definitely the last week of the disrupted schedule as the World Cup ends on Sunday.”
