Crews have made significant progress on the grounded Baltic III, which only has four containers left on board.
The ship ran aground nearly 18 months ago during a storm that sent the massive cargo ship crashing into rocks near Cedar Cove.
So far, 468 containers have been removed from the ship, and the Canadian Coast Guard says removing the remaining ones is a “priority” for the future.

The salvage company is now preparing to install chains and chain pullers to pull the vessel out of the water. On land, significant work has been done to clear a path for the ship to be scrapped.
Photos of the ship taken earlier this week showed a massive crack along the side, causing part of the boat to fall into the water.
