TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Isaiah Adams was recently arrested in Canada on four weapons charges.

Adams, 25, was charged with possession of a firearm obtained by crime, possession of a restricted/prohibited firearm, no license while in possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a prohibited device, according to an online post from the Durham Regional Police Service in Ontario.
Adams was one of four arrested.
“Isaiah is completely innocent in this case,” Adams’ attorney, Adam Weisberg, said in a statement. “He had no knowledge of firearms and he will be fully exonerated.”
The report said police completed an investigation Friday into a man allegedly in possession of a firearm and involved in drug trafficking. The other two people arrested were charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute.
The Cardinals are scheduled to hold their first practice of training camp on Thursday.
“We are aware of the situation regarding Isaiah Adams,” the Cardinals said in a statement. “Out of respect for the process, we will refrain from further comment at this time.”
Adams, born in Ajax, Ont., is a third-year starter for the Cardinals and is primed for the starting job. He was a third-round draft pick by Illinois in 2024.
