More than two weeks ago, the German men’s soccer team was knocked out of the World Cup early. Now player Jonathan Ta impresses with a couple of photos.
Disappointment was deep when Germany were knocked out of the World Cup round of 16 against Paraguay on 29 June. For the fans, players and the national team coach, who has since resigned. Julian Nagelsmann devastating result. The center back is some distance from his first post after being sent off Jonathan Tah has now spoken out again on Instagram.
He shared a series of photos. The first shows a 30-year-old man with his wife Louise. They seem to be in a clothing store and each is looking seriously in the mirror. Tah keeps his hands in the pockets of his wide beige trousers and is wearing a long-sleeved striped shirt. His partner also wears light-colored pants paired with a camouflage top. Tah wrote: “Grounded.”
The post also includes the words: “Rooted in love. Protected from above.” Other pictures show palm trees, Taja with a cap, or a sunset view.
Taha’s teammates Florian Wirtz And Nick Waltemade commented on the post. Wirtz gave a heart emoticon, Voltemade sent stars. One user wrote: “Thank you for your courage and sense of responsibility! Good luck with everything that happens from the bottom of my heart. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a good new start.” Another user commented: “Please keep your head down. It was so fun watching you! (…) I couldn’t believe how poorly the team and coach did.” Some also wished Tahu a happy holiday.
Married three years
Jonathan Ta and Louise have been married since June 2023. The couple met Come see V Italy married. Tah shared photos of it on Instagram: “Grateful for every moment spent with you,” he wrote alongside a photo of them kissing.
Jonathan Ta has been playing for the national team since 2025. FC Bayern Munich. Previously he had been with him for ten years Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The Hamburg native played in his youth and early professional career. HSV.
