Dr. Bharat Bhushan nominated to Hindi Advisory Committee

JAMMU, July 10: Eminent Hindi scholar, educationist and language expert Dr. Bharat Bhushan Sharma has been appointed as an unofficial member of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India.

The candidature was put forward by the Department of Official Language of the Ministry of Home Affairs as part of the reconstitution of the Hindi Advisory Committee under the ministry.

Former Principal of Nowshera Government College, Dr. Sharma contributed significantly to the popularization of Hindi, Dogri and Sanskrit through teaching, translation, lexicography, editing and research. He has served as a language expert on several prestigious national projects and is the author, translator and editor of numerous scientific works.

Dr. Sharma has received several national awards for his contributions to Hindi and Indian languages ​​and was previously a member of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Defence.
