Today the living room becomes the party zone: it’s on RTL at 20:15. “Die Ultimate Chart Show” looking for the most successful singing hits of all time. Moderator Oliver Geissen presents songs that are guaranteed to keep anyone sitting still for long.
It is supported by prominent guests, great live performances and many memorable moments. The most important question of the evening: which piece will be named the biggest song hit of all time?
Celebrities compete for the prize
There are songs where no one stays still after the first few seconds. Whether it’s a football stadium, Mallorca, a village festival or a family celebration – some songs have managed to bridge generations and have long been an integral part of every good party. Oliver Geissen takes viewers on a musical journey through some 60 years of music history.
Besides a lot of music, there is also a lot of competition. Janine Kunze and Bernd Stelter compete against each other in a duel quiz and must prove their knowledge of the history of pop music, rock and the charts, because at the end they will coveted gold chart prize.
The big secret is revealed only at the very end.
The live entertainment is also worth seeing (and hearing). DJ Otzi brings with him “Anton from Tyrol” après-ski atmosphere in the studio, and House of Hermes Group With “Country Roads” performed one of the greatest party classics of all time.
