cbse class 10 second board result 2026 please release the results urgently parents and students appeal as wait continuesForty-nine days after the Class 10 second board exams concluded, CBSE is yet to announce the results. As uncertainty grows over Class 11 admissions, students and parents have written to X, urging the board to announce the scores and end the long wait. Nearly seven weeks after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) concluded the second Class 10th examination 2026, thousands of students are still waiting for their results and anxiety is steadily rising on social media. The last exam took place on May 21, 2026. As of July 9, 2026, 49 days have passed since the exams ended, but CBSE has not announced the date and time for declaring the results. While the board has remained tight-lipped regarding the official timetable, multiple reports indicate that the results will likely be released this week, although there has been no official confirmation. The long wait prompted students and parents to flock to X (formerly Twitter) questioning the delay and expressing concerns about pending Year 11 admissions.

More than 6.68 thousand students are waiting for results

The second board exam, conducted from May 15 to 21, was introduced under the new dual board exam system of CBSE, giving eligible students another opportunity to improve their results during the same academic session.According to CBSE, 6,68,854 candidates have registered for the exam. This included 5,25,655 promotion candidates, 85,285 departmental candidates and 57,914 students falling under both categories.Once announced, the board will prepare the final result using a “best of two” policy whereby the higher score obtained by the student in the first or second board examination will be taken into account in the final mark table.

Parents and students question delay

With Class 11 admissions already underway in many schools, some parents say the delay has created uncertainty over distribution of streams and payment of fees.User X Rabia Hasan (@Rabiahasan368) wrote that her child scored 81.4 percent in the first exam and was waiting for the results of the second exam to secure admission to the Science stream.“Dear CBSE, My child has scored 81.4% in Class 10th Semester 1 exam and wants to take Science course. The results of the second exam are still pending and schools have not confirmed enrollment. Please publish the results urgently.”Another user, Rahul Mehta (@rahul_rvm82), wondered why the result took so long even though the test was completed a few weeks ago.“What is happening in CBSE? Why are the Second Board exam results for class 10 taking so long?”He also said students are bearing the brunt of the delay, pointing out that schools begin calculating Grade 11 fees from April while many admissions are yet to be finalized.Similarly, Mangesh Sharma (@Mangesh13377364) tagged Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the CBSE, asking for the results to be declared as soon as possible.“The CBSE 2nd exam result 2026 is not yet out… the exam was conducted on May 21, 2026. Dear sir, please help.”Another X user, DINO (@DeependraEngg), highlighted the financial burden on parents, saying schools have been charging fees since April while many students are still waiting for admission confirmation after the second board results.Concerns are also reflected in online student communities, where candidates say the uncertainty is affecting their Year 11 entry and academic planning.
