After another dangerously hot and humid day, storms disrupted the Fourth of July events and caused damage throughout the Philadelphia region.
In Chester County, police confirmed there was a rescue operation at the reservoir at Marsh Creek State Park and other roads were closed due to downed trees and power lines.
NBC10’s David Charnes arrived at the scene of the water rescue just after 10 p.m. to find the operation ongoing. Firefighters later said two people were rescued from the water, but one person remained missing in the water.

The storms also caused some storm-related delays and cancellations. The Lansdale/Doylestown line was suspended due to downed trees and wires but has since resumed service, SEPTA said.
The Paoli/Thorndale line between Malvern and Thorndale remains suspended due to mechanical problems.
“The tree is south of Penlyn station and we have had to suspend service on the Lansdale to Doylestown line. There is also a power issue with Amtrak that has suspended service on the Paoli/Thorndale line,” SEPTA spokesman Andrew Busch told NBC10 earlier Saturday.
More than 50,000 PECO customers remained without power as of 10:30 p.m., according to the outage tracker. That number dropped to about 42,000 just before midnight.
The outages occurred due to a strike by PECO workers, including linemen, gas workers, mechanics and call center workers.
According to their tracker, less than 5% of AC Electric customers in South Jersey remain without power.
NBC10’s Miguel Martinez-Valle was on Ben Franklin Boulevard when the “One Philly: Unity Concert for America” concert was suspended and audience members were asked to leave.
