Mainz (dpa) – ZDF viewers can expect a new face this week: Marvin Fischer will host the weekday news and tabloid magazine Hello Germany for the first time, the public broadcaster has announced. He is the eleventh presenter in almost 30 years of broadcasting. The show runs Monday through Friday from 5:10 p.m. until 18:00. on ZDF.
Hessian fans of the magazine might at least recognize Fischer’s voice: for the last six years he has hosted the television tabloid magazine Hessischer Rundfunk (hr), “Maintower” and on the radio wave “You FM” – it was said that he would continue to be heard on the radio.
Alternating with Sandra Maria Groenewald
While moderating “Hello Germany”, he takes turns speaking with Sandra Maria Groenewald, writes ZDF. If you don’t want to miss the first week of Fisher’s broadcast, you should tune in Monday through Friday from 5:10 p.m. Fischer will take over again on July 20, a three-week period.
According to ZDF, “Hello Germany” has been on the air since 1997. The magazine publishes information “on current topics close to people’s life situations,” the statement says. “The format constantly remains young with new ideas.” Previous hosts include Lissy Ishag, Babette von Kienlin and Tim Niedernolte.
