Launched in India
Renault has launched the 2026 update for its Kwid micro SUV. The update does not contain any major design changes, but instead the changes have been carried over into the variant matrix. They trimmed the fat and narrowed the list down to two options. You get it in the Evolution variant, the entry-level model, and the Climber variant, the fully loaded model, as you can see in the videos and photos.

Competition Check
In the entry-level segment, despite the decline in demand, there were still many players present. For the price of this new Kwid range, you get Maruti S-Presso, Maruti WagonR, Maruti Celerio and its main rival Maruti Alto. You can also check out the entry versions of the Tata Tiago. Maruti has a larger network and, barring the Alto, all its models are larger than the Kwid. But the Kwid offers more features, SUV styling and higher ground clearance. It’s a similar story with the Tata Tiago, which is a larger car and has a wider service network than the Kwid. But the Kwid again offers SUV styling, higher ground clearance and more features at a similar price.
