The lifeless baby’s body was discovered at noon in a plastic bag in Bobigny, near the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis. The investigation is ongoing.
The Bobigny prosecutor’s office confirmed this Monday the opening of an investigation into the murder of a 15-year-old minor and the concealment of the corpse, following the discovery today, at 12:30, of the body of a child, just born in a plastic bag, in Bobigny, on the path leading to the Parc de la Bergere. This park is located just outside the prefecture of the department.
According to our colleagues from Le Parisien, the alarm was raised after police officers leaving the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis were stopped by passers-by. The latter allegedly claimed to have seen someone place a garbage bag full of blood in which the body was found.
The prosecutor was supposed to go to the scene of the incident. The territorial security service of Seine-Saint-Denis (ST93) is in charge of the investigation.
