How to watch tonight's untelevised Toronto Blue Jays game

For the second week in a row, fans attempting to watch the Toronto Blue Jays game on Friday night will not see the game broadcast on traditional television.

The Blue Jays, hoping for a hot streak after beating the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1, are set to take on the hot division rival Boston Red Sox on Friday in the three-game series opener.

Unlike this series against the Rays and many other Jays games this season, Friday’s opener against the Red Sox will not be available on Sportsnet.

The first game in the series is part of Apple TV’s Friday Night Baseball package, which features multiple MLB games each week of the regular season beginning in 2022.

Fans wishing to watch tonight’s game will need to do so via Apple TV, which is available in Canada for $14.99 per month. The package also includes a free seven-day trial. The annual package costs $129.

Apple devices from iPhone to iPad, Mac computers, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, Windows PCs, Android mobile devices, smart TVs, streaming devices and cable boxes can be used to set up today’s game through the Apple TV app and the Apple TV website.

Once you open the app, finding a game is as easy as searching for “Blue Jays” or “Friday Night Baseball.”
