Replying to Prime Minister Modi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi tweeted: “You are the one who has done the most damage to the future of our youth.”
You not only allowed our education system to be hijacked and destroyed, but you encouraged it. Provided protection to every person responsible.
Rahul said: The students’ demands are clear:
1. Remove Dharmendra Pradhan from office.
2. Apologize to your students.
3. Take action against those who commit violence against students.
Addressing a meeting of NDA MPs on Tuesday, the Prime Minister urged MPs to reach out to the youth and listen to their concerns. He stressed that those involved in irregularities such as leaking of question papers should receive the harshest punishment.
The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which is leading the protest at Jantar Mantar, reacted to the Prime Minister’s post and tweeted: “Dharmendra Pradhan should resign.”

Rahul Gandhi’s statement on ‘152 documents leaked’
Congress communications chief Jairam Ramesh tweeted: “The Prime Minister lacks the courage to stand up in Parliament, speak and engage in serious debate as all Prime Ministers before him have done when the time demands.”
“Through a post on social media this morning, he tried to show that he was concerned about the issues being raised by students across the country. But this post actually shows that they are under pressure and completely distracted. Stealing votes, stealing seats, stealing donations, stealing exam papers… the list gets longer.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that since the BJP-led NDA came to power in 2014, 152 question papers have been leaked online, affecting around 7.5 million students.
At a press conference, Rahul Gandhi said, “We know that 152 articles have been leaked in the last decade. If we do the math, on average one article is leaked every month.”
On this occasion, Union Health Minister JP Nadda said that the investigation into the matter is ongoing and once the investigation is completed, the government will present the whole truth before the country.
He said: “This is a matter of investigation and as a responsible government we will certainly investigate this and present the truth to the public and the country.”
Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Wednesday raised questions with the central government over the delay in starting talks with students protesting against the alleged leak of NEET question papers.
He tweeted: “Protest is a fundamental right in a democracy. But the real question is why did the BJP-led central government take so long to open a dialogue with the protesters?”
He asked: “Why did meaningful negotiations not begin until the movement reached a critical stage? After all, what did the government expect?”

What did JP Nadda say?
Union Minister J P Nadda on Wednesday appealed to Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi not to take a “selective” stance while mentioning cases of question paper leakage.
He said such a serious issue should not be used for political purposes. He also said that the government is ready to discuss the issue in detail in Parliament as Parliament is the most appropriate forum to find a permanent solution.
At a press conference held late on Wednesday night, Nadda said, “Students have expressed their concerns over the leak of question papers. I urge that this issue not be given a political spin or that any attempt be made to gain political advantage from it. This is a very serious issue and should be discussed seriously.”

Nadda said Rahul Gandhi did not mention the issue leak and related irregularities that came to light in states ruled by opposition parties, including the Congress.
He said the list of such incidents is much longer and includes cases from states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Punjab, Kerala and Karnataka.
He said: “I want to ask the Leader of the Opposition, why are you so selective? This clearly shows that your goal is not the well-being of the students. Rather, you want to take advantage of students’ political problems, which is unfortunate.”
