Although Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom and was reunited with his father, King Charles IIIseeing my brother Prince William that’s a completely different story.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, and the Prince of Wales, 44, have apparently split since Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their senior royal duties in 2020 and moved to California.
Now that Harry and Meghan, 44, live on the West Coast with their son Prince Archie7 years old and daughter Princess Lilibet5 years, the whole family has not been together for many years.
However, Buckingham Palace confirmed (via People), that the 77-year-old king and his wife, Queen Camillahosted the Sussexes last week at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England. It was the first face-to-face meeting between the children and their grandfather in four years.

“(William) can appreciate that a father living with cancer wants to see his son and grandchildren, while at the same time believing that Harry has not earned his way back into the family’s trust,” Schofield added, explaining that William’s “priority” is “protecting the institution he will one day inherit.”
Father of three children – who shares Prince George12, Princess Charlotte11 and Prince Louis8, s Princess Kate44 is next in line to the throne, and it is becoming increasingly clear that the crown comes first.
“In his view, the question was never whether Harry was part of the family, but whether he could be trusted,” Schofield said. “One day at Highgrove does not answer this question. King Charles can afford to think about his legacy. Prince William has to think about longevity.”

“Father can forgive. The monarch still has to protect the Crown,” Schofield said. “One meeting is easy. Rebuilding trust is extremely difficult.”
During Harry’s recent visit, he and William did not appear to see each other.
