During the existence of the Nevsky series, the project lost about 25 actors. A figure that reeks not just of sadness, but of some kind of gloomy pattern. Having started on NTV in 2015, the detective procedural only became more popular, but along with the growing number of admirers, the list of those who left us grew larger.
Funeral list
Let us first remember Alexander Sayutalin, the star of many NTV series and one of the most prominent antagonists of the project. The actor, whose name now opens the sad chronicle of Nevsky, passed away when the series was in its best shape and collected awards one after another. He played Evgeny Arsenyev. He died on January 22, 2024 at the age of 60 after a serious illness.
Let us also remember Evgeny Bulychev, who played the role of Kovalev, died on January 19, 2020 at the age of 56 – also a long illness. Andrei Babenko, an operative of Beloryabov, left on July 24, 2023: the actor committed suicide at the age of 47.
Heart attacks, oncology, covid
The hearts of several people from the film crew stopped. Sergei Kunitsky, a patrolman, died at 35 years old. Vadim Volkov, Tikhonov, at 59. Sergei Nikolaev, head of the cash withdrawal office, at 46.
Viktor Melikhov, businessman, at 61. Mikhail Lozhkin, passenger, died of a heart attack at 36. Alexander Karpukhov, a drunkard Ivashov, died in his sleep at 50.
Oncology took three. Dmitry Yagnov, the role of Popov, left at 50. Rostislav Orel, dad, at 55. Ksenia Arsenyeva, manager of the medical center, at 52.
The coronavirus has killed two. Artyom Anchukov, lawyer, died at 36 years old. Ruslan Dulich, truck driver, at 40.
Death on set and other losses
Lev Eliseev, who played Budnitsky, caught a cold right on the set. The body could not cope, and on June 26, 2015, the actor died at the age of 80.
Fyodor Koposov, homeless Uncle Zhenya, passed away on May 25, 2016 at the age of 61.
Vitaly Zhigalin, authority, November 5, 2019 at 47 years old. Elena Baldakhova, mother of the murdered man, January 22, 2023, reason unknown.
The list is completed by Vyacheslav Belyaev, businessman Kolesnikov, who died at 56, Georgy Nikolaev, Gennady Ilyich, who died at 52, Vitaly Lobanov – at 43, Nina Zhernakova – at 87, Evgeny Artemyev – at 68, Evgeny Shepelevich – at 38, Moses Berson – at 76. Causes of death many of them have not been made public.
The eighth season of Nevsky is currently being filmed. One can only guess how many stars will be gone before the end of Pasha Semenov’s story.
