The only winning ticket sold in Quebec delivered the $40 million Lotto Max jackpot in the June 26 drawing, but lottery officials are still waiting for a winner to emerge.

The ticket that won the jackpot matched all seven numbers: 05, 06, 16, 30, 33, 43 and 51, as well as the bonus number 35. It was the only ticket in Canada to win the top prize.

Loto-Québec has confirmed that the winning lot was sold in Quebec, but has not yet identified the city or retailer where it was purchased.

In addition to the jackpot, six Maxmillions-style prizes worth $100,000 were awarded across Canada, with winning tickets sold in the Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic provinces.

The June 26 Lotto Max draw also produced more than 116,000 winning tickets across a range of prize tiers across the country.

Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets carefully as the province’s newest multi-millionaire has yet to claim a prize.
